Firstly, it’s important to confirm whether you are pregnant, as soon as possible. Once you have, you may need help with the decisions regarding the future of your unborn child, especially if you do not have the support of the father of your child or your family.

There are no right or wrong answers, but you do have options that you can explore with one of our social workers.

It’s important to know that the birth father has the right to be informed of the pregnancy, should be involved in the decisions and have the opportunity to acknowledge paternity.
